A man has pointed out an X-rated detail he had never noticed on Maoam wrappers - and others have said they'll never look at the sweets in the same way again.
TikTok user @Mitchxllt uploaded a video reading: 'Why have we never realised what Maoams are actually doing?' and added the caption: 'You learn something new everyday'.
A picture shows the six flavours of Maoam many of us grew up eating with the recognisable blue banner across the top, but it's what is going on below the writing that somehow escaped our attention.
Illustrations of food including a lemon, orange, strawberry and cherries are used to denote the flavour of the sweets, and there's also the addition of a green cartoon character who appears to really, really, like fruit.
The figure can be seen having a taste of the cherries, being caught in a compromising position with an orange and apparently not even trying to hide its feelings for lemons.
The video has been viewed almost three million times and racked up more than 30,000 comments as people couldn't believe they had completely overlooked the racy wrappers for so long.
One said: "I - my childhood was a lie", and a second wrote: "...uh he is having fun."
A third commented: "I'm never gonna think of Maoams the same again", while a fourth joked: "I never looked at the wrapper I just ate them lmfao."
Another suggested: "I guess they have children to make a combined flavour?" and someone else added: "OMG and that's why its called MO AMS (moans)."
It's not the only rude find spotted on something seemingly innocent recently, after a mum reading 'The Smartest Giant in Town' by Julia Donaldson to her daughter noticed a detail in the illustration which left her in stitches.
She shared a picture to Facebook to ask: "How have I only just noticed this in our favourite bedtime story?" as she joked it should be renamed the 'dirtiest' giant in town instead. You can see the full story here.
