A homeowner was left stunned when he went onto his home's security camera footage after his dog's persistent barking to find a spooky figure outside the house.
Retired lorry driver Cory Fletcher, 40, from Minnesota, USA, was confused when his dog named Diva began barking persistently at the door which normally indicates somebody is outside.
However, when Cory went to check outside his house he was not able to see anyone and was left unsure what his dog was barking at.
Cory said: "We decided to check the footage as our living room window was open and our dog, Diva, barked at it.
"She never barks at anything unless someone is right at our door. So when she barks we figure there's someone at the house."
But the barking did not stop there. When Diva kept making a fuss, Cory decided to check the security camera footage from outside his house and he was left gobsmacked by what he saw.
The footage appears to show a strange, translucent figure walking past his home.
Things got spookier when Cory realised that the camera had not picked up any human movement as when it does detect a human or animal it will circle them to pinpoint any movement.
But this time, the camera did not pick up a human or an animal, just the silhouette of this strange figure.
Cory explained: "When I went looking outside there was no one there, so I came back inside but Diva was still intensely looking outside. This is what made me go check the camera footage.
"I really don't know what this was! No person was seen walking and I saw nothing with my own eyes.
"The camera caught this translucent figure. Was it an angel, a demon, something unknown to us?
"There was no human detection signature on the camera. You can see these streaks behind it and then it appears as a full apparition with an orb following it near the ground."
