Tennessee authorities are currently on the lookout for a man involved in a disturbing road rage incident in Memphis. The incident, captured on video by witnesses, shows the unidentified suspect attacking a car with an ax on the driver's side.
According to reports, the suspect was allegedly rear-ended by the car before he began his violent outburst. After the collision, the man exited his vehicle and proceeded to strike the other car with the ax, creating visible damage on the front and back windshields as well as the side of the car.
In the video footage, the suspect can be seen pulling the ax out of the holes he created in the car's exterior to swing again. Following the destructive act, the man removed his jacket and confronted the passengers inside the car before calmly returning to his own vehicle, still wielding the ax, and driving away.
Law enforcement officials are actively searching for the suspect, who is believed to be driving a 2012 Chevy Impala. Once apprehended, he is likely to face charges of aggravated assault for his actions during the road rage incident.
Despite attempts to reach out for comments, the Memphis Police Department has not provided any official statements regarding the ongoing investigation.
