Police are searching for a man after a woman was sexually assaulted in Barking Park.
The woman called police after she was assaulted, and then sexually assaulted in Barking Park close to Longbridge Road at 9.55pm on November 18.
She is receiving support from specialist officers.
Detectives wish to speak to a 30-year-old man, named Ioan Bilasco, in connection with the assault and are appealing for the public’s help to trace him.
He is known to have frequented the Leyton and Barking areas.
Detective Constable Neil Godwin, from the East Area Command Unit which covers Barking, said: “It is vital that we locate Ioan Bilasco. Have you seen him, or do you know of his whereabouts?”
