A man who specialises in posting helpful lifestyle content on social media has revealed how you can get clothes dried even quicker when doing the laundry.
If you have a tumble dryer, it's a lot easier and quicker to get your clothes, towels and bedsheets in the best dry condition for using them. But sometimes one cycle doesn't quite do the trick, and they still come out slightly damp.
So if you're running out of time to get ready and there's still a hint of dampness lingering, all you need to get them dried quickly is a simple dry towel. That's according to content creator Armen Adamjan, also known as @creative_explained on TikTok.
Boasting over 5.6 million followers, Armen is known for his high-energy life hack videos that tell us how to reduce waste, clean our homes and upcycle common household items.
One of his latest videos details six different cleaning hacks that you "need" to know, as they're so simple and will make life around the house easier.
And the towel trick has been described as "genius" in the comments, with many eager to try it for themselves.
In the video, he's seen taking some laundry out of the dryer that is still slightly damp.
He said: "If you're in a hurry and your clothes are still wet, just throw in a dry towel with the load.
"The towel will absorb the moisture and your clothes will dry a lot faster."
Another tip in Armen's short video was to put a balled-up piece of tinfoil in the dishwasher as it'll make your silverware 'extra shiny' as they're being washed.
Tinfoil also featured in another tip - which was to use it to scrub your dirty dishes if you've not got a sponge handy, as it'll do the trick just as well.
He also recommended using citrus fruits to help with certain cleaning jobs around the house. Putting a sprinkle of baking soda on half a lemon and using it to scrub your shower and taps will leave them shinier than ever, and lemon juice added to hot water makes the perfect cleaning product for your skirting boards.
