Police have issued an appeal after a man was sexually assaulted in a park in Cardiff. The assault happened at approximately 10.30pm on Sunday, July 17 in Sevenoaks Park in Grangetown, with part of the park cordoned off the following morning.
The case is still being investigated by South Wales Police detectives as they try to identify the suspected attacker. They have now appealed for a group of men who were in the park at the time to come forward, as it is believed they might have vital information about the assault.

A spokesperson for the force said: "South Wales Police is continuing to investigate a sexual assault in Sevenoaks Park, Grangetown, which was reported in the summer. Detectives are appealing for a group of males who were in the park at the time to please come forward as they might have vital information.
"It is understood some of the group chased the suspect while others walked the male victim home. It happened in the park, which is off Sloper Road, at approximately 10.30pm on Sunday, July 17.
