A 35-year-old man was rushed to hospital with three others being arrested in connection with an alleged assaulted on a busy Paisley street.
Emergency services raced to Ladyburn Street at around 8.15pm after reports of an assault.
The man was found with serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition is described as serious but not life-threatening.
Cops cordoned off part of the road while carrying out enquiries. Two men, aged 37 and 31, and a 32-year-old woman have now been arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man who had been assaulted at Ladyburn Street in Paisley shortly after 8.15pm on Friday, 9 June.
“The 35-year-old has been taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.
“Two men, aged 37 and 31, and a woman, 32, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing."
