A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being attacked with a bladed weapon in Glasgow.
The 65-year-old had been in a premises on London Road in the East End of the city on Monday, March 28 before the violent incident took place at 7.15pm.
An emergency response rushed to the scene where paramedics escorted the victim to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
His condition is at this stage unknown.
Police inquiries into the attack remain ongoing.
A spokesperson said: “At 7.15pm on Monday, March 28, officers were called to a report of a 65-year-old man having been seriously assaulted with a bladed weapon at a premises on London Road, near to Orr Street, Glasgow.
"The man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for his injuries.
"Inquiries are ongoing.”
