A man has been seriously injured after crashing into a wall.
Police and the fire service were called to reports a black Range Rover Sport had crashed into a wall on Chapel Lane, Cronton. The crash happened at around 12.20am on Monday, January 16 and emergency services closed the road.
The man, in his 30s, was rushed to hospital after suffering serious injuries. Police have reported he remains in hospital as his family await news on his condition.

Detective sergeant Kurt Timpson from the force’s Matrix serious collision investigation unit said: "Our thoughts are very much with the man’s family as they wait for news on his condition and they are being supported by specially trained Family Liaison Officers.
"Meanwhile, we have launched an investigation to get answers for them. I would appeal to anyone who was in the general area at the time of this collision, who may have seen the Range Rover prior to the collision to please make contact with us.
"In addition we appeal to anyone with dashcam, or who lives locally with CCTV or Smart Doorbell footage to get in touch." The road was closed for a number of hours, but has since reopened.
