Man seriously injured after Glasgow car park attack as police hunt 'teen gang'

Police are probing a serious assault in a Glasgow car park that left one man hospitalised.

The 21-year-old was set upon in the Q Car Park in Adams Court Lane close to the St Enoch Centre, just off Jamaica Street, on Wednesday. It's believed a large group of boys and girls, believed to be around 16 years old attacked the victim at around 8.10pm.

The man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Medics say his condition is stable.

Detective Constable Stuart Mills said: “Multiple members of the public were present at the time of the incident, and may have witnessed the assault. I would ask those who haven’t spoken with officers, to get in touch as soon as possible.

“Anyone with any information, is asked to contact 101, quoting incident 3497 of June 1, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
