A man suffered serious face injuries after being attacked in Liverpool city centre.
The suspect left the scene of the incident with a woman in a taxi. Police have reported that the attack took place at around 2.20am on Saturday, February 11, on Church Street.
They said that after an altercation, a man was assaulted by another man on Church Street. The 20-year-old victim suffered serious facial injuries and required hospital treatment.

The alleged offender then left the scene in the direction of Central Station and got into a taxi. Officers have now released an image of a man they believe may have information about the incident.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: "This was a dangerous and reckless attack that has left the victim seriously injured. This incident took place at a time where it would have been busy, so if you were in the vicinity in the early hours of Saturday 11th February and saw anything, then please contact us.
"I am also appealing for people to come forward if you recognise the male featured in these images. We believe he could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.
