Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was hit by a car in Powys. The incident took place at Plantation Lane in the Garth Owen area of Newtown at around 7.20pm on Friday, February 3.
The collision involved a grey Toyota Avensis and a pedestrian, a spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said. The pedestrian, who was a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The police force is now appealing for any witnesses of the collision or has any information regarding the incident to come forward.
In a statement released on Saturday a spokesman for the force said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision at Plantation Lane, Garth Owen, Newtown at approximately 7.20pm on Friday, February 3.

"The collision involved a grey Toyota Avensis and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has any information that could help officers with their investigation, including dashcam and doorbell footage, is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police either online, by emailing 101@dyfed-powys.police.uk, or by calling 101.
