Man's tooth knocked out in town centre attack

A man's tooth was knocked out in a Warrington town centre attack.

Police said the victim was assaulted on Legh Street, at around 1am on Sunday, May 14. During the attack the 22-year-old suffered multiple face injuries, including the loss of a tooth.

Officers have now shared an image of a man they are looking to speak to in connection with the incident. They believe the man pictured may have information about the assault.

Police constable Anna Hull from Warrington Local Policing Unit, said: "This investigation is ongoing and we are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV images as we believe he may be able to help with our enquiries. If you think you recognise the man or have information regarding his identity please come forward.

"I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV images to get in touch. Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting IML 1546898.

"Information can also be reported anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111."
