A man was left "shocked" when a Hermes courier driver tried to enter his home to drop off a parcel after he didn't answer the door.
The resident watched the incident on his home CCTV camera at around noon last Friday (February 4), reports North Wales Live.
He was in the bathroom of his three-bedroom home when he heard a knock at the door, followed immediately by the sound of the door handle being turned by the driver in question.
The man, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "I just think it's unusual.
"The Hermes delivery man pulled outside my house with a parcel, he walked up the drive, knocked the door, and then immediately pulled on the handle.
"I know what sound my front door makes when someone's trying to open it.
"I was upstairs at the time in the bathroom and it was a bit of a shock."

He then ran from the bathroom to tell the driver to leave the parcel at the door.
The resident added: "I stuck my head out of a window to tell him.
"I'm not sure whether they should be doing it or not but it could be quite frightening if it was an elderly person living by themselves."
He added that the driver "had his hood up" which made it look like he was "trying to hide [his] identity."
He said: "I sent a complaint to Hermes and they told me that the driver thought we had a porch and that he was trying to leave the parcel in it [a designated safe place]."
However, the resident clarified that they "don't have [a porch] and the door opens into [their] living room."
"Even if I did have a porch, I wouldn't want people letting themselves in," he said.
A spokesperson for Hermes said: "We have raised this with the local team who have spoken to the courier involved.
"This was a genuine mistake as the courier believed it was a porch - we will ensure it won't happen again."
