There are many people who seem to have a doppelganger out there, someone who looks spookily like them, sharing similar facial features. It's rare we ever meet these people ourselves, but on the rare occasions it does happen, it can be rather unsettling.
One man has gone viral online after sharing an innocent snap from his holiday in Las Vegas. Posting as Sean Douglas Mcardle on Reddit, the man explained he'd been swimming in the pool of his hotel when he swam by another man who happened to look like his 'identical twin' - only he doesn't have a twin.

Sean uploaded the image of himself and the stranger to Reddit's r/Funny forum, where he captioned the post: "I wasn’t convinced until now…. we are definitely in a simulation.
"Today I randomly swam past my Doppelseäner at the Flamingo pool in Vegas."
He added: "I was just swimming by in the pool and a big group of strangers were pointing at me and laughing.
"I got really self-conscious, looked back at my friends and they were all pointing and laughing at him. That's when I saw him.
"I immediately thought 'holy s*** that guy looks like the dude I see in the mirror,' and my second thought was, 'He looks cooler than me. Probably has real Club Master Ray Bans unlike my Zenni knock-offs."
More than 2,000 people have responded to the post, with many people's minds blown by the coincidence. Not only did the pair look alike, but they were wearing matching hats and glasses.
Some people dubbed it "freaky" and pointed out they look like "identical twins".
One said: "Time to do a Parent Trap."
Another wrote: "You look like brothers of Seth Rogen."
A third joked: "One of you will cease to exist as soon as the admin finds out."
Someone else posted: "Face hairstyle is identical as well. Freaky."
"Pretty crazy coincidence they both not only wear glasses but chose the same frame and colour. And on top of that, that day they both chose to wear a WHITE hat," proclaimed a different user.
