Man's charmingly honest dating profile has people declaring he's 'husband material'

Looking for love online is no easy task, especially when it can be a struggle to find something that sets you apart from the other bachelors and bachelorettes.

But one man has found himself inundated with messages from interested women after his Hinge dating profile went viral on TikTok thanks to one hilarious video he chose to include, News.com.au reports.

The man, named Dillion, had his profile shared on TikTok by Lexi Bennett - who posts under the username @elexxxisbennett - after she was left in stitches by a clip he posted that saw him being attacked by a monkey.

Dillion chose to answer a question on his profile about the "worst idea" he's ever had, to which he wrote: "Going to see the monkeys in Thailand."

Alongside the response, he uploaded the amusing video which showed a monkey climbing on top of his head before slapping him in the face multiple times.

In her post on TikTok, Lexi said of the video: "Hinge = free entertainment."

The video quickly went viral and has been viewed over 1.3 million times, with thousands of women in the comments admitting they were endeared by Dillion's hilarious holiday fail.

One woman wrote: “I would give him a chance just for using this on his profile."

While another commented: "The fact he put it on his dating profile is so charmingly disarming."

And others were so blown away by the man's ability to make fun of himself that they declared they would marry him in a heartbeat.

Someone said: "I would marry this man."

As someone else added: "Definitely husband material."

And a third wrote: "I'd literally marry this man."

Meanwhile, another commenter insisted the video proves Dillion is "good under pressure", while others simply said the video was "the funniest thing" they'd ever seen.

One comment read: “I’ve watched this five times in a row. So good."

While another posted: “I cannot stop laughing."
