The body of a 24-year-old man has been found at a house in central Queensland by police conducting a welfare check.

Officers also found a man and woman, believed to be the dead man's brother and mother, at the home in the Gladstone suburb of Glen Eden about 1pm on Sunday.

The 50-year-old woman and 20-year-old man were both taken to hospital with injuries, police said.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are underway, but officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.

Gladstone detectives are set to hold a press conference about the man's death on Tuesday.
