Police have confirmed that a man's body has been found at a property in Beeston, Leeds.
A large police presence was spotted in the area this afternoon (Wednesday) and a cordon was in place on Fairford Avenue. One resident said that they saw police and ambulance services outside of a property on the road.
West Yorkshire Police have now provided details of the incident. A spokesperson said: "At 2.26 this afternoon officers were called to a concern for safety at Fairford Avenue, Beeston.

"A man’s body was found. A scene is in place whilst forensic examinations take place."
The police scene was set up near to the Aldi supermarket in the area.
West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for more details of the circumstances of the incident.
