THE body of a man has been found at a property in East Ayrshire as police launch an investigation into his “unexplained” death.
Officers were called to an address on Hopes Avenue, Dalmellington, at around 11.25am on Thursday.
A 51-year-old man was found dead at the property.
Police said the death is being treated as “unexplained” and that the man’s next of kin are aware.
Enquiries into the man's death are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.25am on Thursday, 20 March, 2025, we were called to a report of the death of a 51-year-old man at an address on Hopes Avenue, Dalmellington.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and his next of kin are aware.”
