Police have arrested a man on suspicion of drug driving after a cyclist suffered a serious leg injury.
Merseyside Police rushed to Park Road East in Birkenhead at around 4.45pm on Tuesday, July 12, following reports of a crash. Once at the scene officers found a man on a bike and a Renault Clio had crashed on the road.
Police requested help from the North West Ambulance Service and the rider of the bike was rushed to hospital with a serious injury to his leg.

The driver of the car, a 49-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and drug driving.
CCTV and witness enquiries are being carried out in the local area.
