A man has been rushed to hospital with 'serious injuries' after an attack in Dundee.
The incident took place today at around 4pm in Helmsdale Avenue with the 29-year-old victim taken to Ninewells Hospital.
Officers raced to the scene this afternoon as locals reported seeing police cordons at the scene.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers received report of a 29-year-old man having been seriously assaulted on Helmsdale Avenue in Dundee around 4.10pm on Thursday, 26 May, 2022.
“The man has been taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
