Police are appealing for information after a man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a two-car smash in Wishaw.
The crash happened in the Newmains area at around 9.20am on Sunday, December 4, and saw a white Ford Transit van collide with an unoccupied blue Ford Transit flatbed van on Alcath Road near to Bonkle Road.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the 46-year-old male passenger was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated for a serious head injury.

The passenger's condition has since been described as stable and the driver was uninjured.
The road was closed while police carried out investigations, and re-opened at around 12.30pm the same day.
Sergeant Craig McDonald said: “We’re appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or was in the area at the time to get in touch.
“I would also ask if there are any other motorists with possible dash-cam footage or anyone with information that may help with our investigation to contact police.”
