A man suffered a head injury during a “disturbance” following a Bryan Adams concert in Widnes.
Cheshire Constabulary said officers were called to Lower House Lane at 10.45pm on Saturday. He said that upon their arrival they found a 60-year-old man with a head injury.
The casualty was taken to hospital for treatment. The incident happened close to where crowds had packed into the DCBL Stadium to see Canadian superstar Bryan Adams in concert that evening.

Police said the injured man had attended the event prior to the incident.
A force spokesman said: “An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is under way and enquiries are ongoing.”
