A man was taken to hospital after a motorbike crash on a popular road in Liverpool.
Merseyside Police were called to West Derby Road, Tuebrook at around 12.35pm today, Thursday, July 28 after they received reports of a collision involving a motorcycle. Police said one man, the rider of the motorcycle, was taken to hospital.
An advance paramedic and ambulance crew from the North West Ambulance Service attended the scene and confirmed that a patient had been taken to hospital. They couldn't provide further information on his condition, though police said he was "taken to hospital to be checked over as a precaution."

A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "An advance paramedic and an ambulance crew attend the scene of a motorbike crash. A patient has been taken to hospital. I cannot confirm his condition."
Merseyside Police said: "At around 12.35pm today, Thursday 28 July, we received a report of a collision involving a motorcycle on West Derby Road, Tuebrook.
"Emergency services attended and the male rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital to be checked over as a precaution."
