Man rushed to hospital after emergency crews race to Dundee street

A man was rushed to hospital last night after emergency teams raced to a Dundee street.

A police car and ambulance were spotted outside a property on North Erskine Street.

The officers and paramedics attended the scene at about 8pm on Monday.

It is understood locals were initially concerned it was a major incident.

However this morning a Police Scotland spokesperson told Dundee Live that officers were responding to a medical emergency.

And they confirmed a man was later taken to hospital.

His condition is not known at this stage.
