Man rushed to Glasgow hospital following two vehicle collision

A man has been rushed to hospital following a two vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency services sped to Carmunnock Road after receiving reports of the collision at around 3.20pm on March 15.

Police, ambulance and fire services were all in attendance at the scene near Aitkenhead Road in Busby.

The road was closed in both directions between Aitkenhead Road and Croftfoot Road. A man was taken Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance.

A police spokesperson said: "Around 3.20 pm on Wednesday, 15 March 2023 police received a report of a two vehicle crash on Carmunnock Road near to Aitkenhead Road, Busby.

"Police, SRFS and SAS attended and one man was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."
