A man was rushed to a Glasgow hospital following two separate crashes on the East Kilbride Expressway.
The first crash, involving one car, took place on the A725 westbound near the High Blantyre junction at around 9.40am this morning.
Emergency services attended the scene and a 27-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

A short time later, a separate crash took place on the eastbound carriageway involving a car and a HGV. There were no reports of any injuries.
The eastbound carriageway fully re-opened at around 11.55am and the westbound carriageway at around 12.30pm.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police were called to a report of a one-car crash on the A725 westbound near the High Blantyre junction at around 9.40am on Sunday, 31 July, 2022.
“Emergency services attended and a 27-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.

“A separate crash involving a car and an HGV occurred shortly after on the eastbound carriageway. There were no reports of any injuries.
“The eastbound carriageway was fully re-opened at around 11.55am and the westbound carriageway re-opened around 12.30pm.”
