A man ran into a barber shop shouting "I'm going to die" after being stabbed in the arm.
Staff at Ilyan's Barber Shop on Hoylake Road in Moreton rushed to help the man after he entered the shop covered in blood last night (Thursday). Merseyside Police were called to the area just after 6.23pm following reports of a serious assault.
Owner of Ilyan's Barber Shop, Honar Rahman, 31, told the ECHO: "He was bleeding and my guys helped him to make his arm stop bleeding as much as possible.
"It was a bit scary because we didn't know what happened. He kept saying he is going to die. I said to him he going to be alright."

The barbers used hot water to clean the man's wound and helped to stem the bleeding. A customer, who was in the shop at the time with their child, phoned for an ambulance.
Speaking of what happened, Honar said: "It's disgusting to be honest. How would you feel if someone came to your house with a bleeding arm? What are you going to think?
"We kept saying you're going to be alright, then the police came and the police took him to hospital."
Detectives believe a fight took place between two women, who were travelling in separate cars, close to the junction of Gautby Road and Hoylake Road in Birkenhead between 5.45pm and 6.15pm on Thursday.
A short time later, at around 6.20pm, a second fight took place on a car park close to Heron Foods and the Coach and Horses pub on Hoylake Road. During this incident a 44-year-old man was slashed to the arm with a bladed weapon.
The victim suffered from lacerations to his arm and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm. She remains in custody.
Police said enquiries are ongoing to trace another man.
Detective Chief Inspector Matt Caton said: "An investigation is currently underway as we seek to establish what has taken place and we are carrying out a number of lines of enquiry including speaking to witnesses and examining CCTV footage.
“We know that the area around Gautby Road and Hoylake Road would have been busy last night and we believe there were a number of people who may have captured either of the incidents on their mobile phones. I would ask those people to come forward and share that footage with us to assist with our enquiries.
“I would also ask that anyone who was in that area who has a dashcam checks their footage to see if they captured anything significant as it could be vital to our investigation.”
