Man returns from military service to surprise parents - but catches them 'in the act'

If there's one thing children never want to see, no matter how old they might get, it's their parents having sex.

One 20-year-old son has unfortunatley witnessed just that recently - and to make matters worse, the incredibly awkward moment was caught on camera.

Joseph Pena had been away from his family in Colorado, USA, for the last two years completing military service in Germany.

He'd decided to try and surprise his parents with a visit home and showed up unnanounced, giving his mum and dad a much bigger surprise than he'd bargained for.

His mum Kaati, 39 and dad Richard, 54, were 'caught in the act' as Joseph barged into their room without knocking first.

The couple refer to what their son saw as them 'talking' as this is the codeword they used for sex when the kids were little.

Their very intimate 'discussion' understandably left Joseph mortified and unable to face his parents for a while.

Mum Kaati recalls: "We were surprised and beyond embarrassed.

"My husband and I were talking, which was our code word for sex when the kids were little, and we were in the moment when the door got kicked open.

"I screamed because I saw my son and of course realised he saw everything exposed."

She continued to say: "We had no clue that our son Joseph was coming home on his R&R and he told his sister Josephine, the camera lady, that he wanted to surprise us.

"The online responses have been epic! The comments are on fire and most are roasting our son for not knocking. To this day it’s still being viewed, and comments are still pouring in.

"Our poor son was scarred during his R&R and spent most of his time with his sister and his girlfriend."

The mum added that Joseph then 'avoided' coming over to their house for the remainder of his down time, instead opting to text and call his parents.

"We were okay with it because he needed to enjoy his R&R and not be scarred by what he saw.

"I’m sure he’s trying his best to erase the visual memory of the incident, but living with us will only remind him of how Eve and Adam conceived the whole world."
