Man punched unconscious outside Bristol nightclub during brawl

A man was punched unconscious outside a Bristol nightclub during a street brawl. Avon and Somerset Police said a group of men were involved in an altercation outside of Mbargo, in the Clifton Triangle, at around 3.15am on Saturday, October 1.

The victim, in his 20s, was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged and is recovering at home. Police have released CCTV footage, which can be viewed at the top of this article, from the time and are keen to locate the man on the left.

He is described as being around 20-25 years old, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, with brown hair. He was wearing slim black jeans and a black jumper when the attack happened.

The force said in an appeal: "We believe the man in the CCTV has information about an altercation outside a Bristol nightclub.

"The subject is described as being around 20-25 years old, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, of medium build, with brown hair. He is wearing slim black jeans and a black jumper.

"If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222236140, or complete our online appeals form."
