A man proposed to his girlfriend at McDonald's with the ring concealed in box of Chicken McNuggets - before the couple toasted the news at Cash Converters.
Aaron Chen popped the question to shocked Esther Shim - and she certainly didn't see it coming.
The comedian took her to the fast food chain and went down on one knee after treating her to the slap-up £4 meal.
Thankfully for the Australian, she say the funny side and loved every part of the quirky proposal.
They then showed off the ring at the second-hand retail company - and confirmed the news with a hilarious message on Instagram.
Aaron, 26, simply wrote: "Congratulations to me I am engaged."
They were about to wolf down their lunch when Esther opened her nuggets - and found the ring looking back at her in between the crispy chicken.
They then headed to the pawn shop to pose for some photos, wanting to do things a little differently.
The bride-to-be wrote: "I am the happiest girl in the world."
Their followers loved Aaron and Esther's rather random engagement.
Fellow Australian comic Jan Fran told him: "Aaron! You’re going to make a beautiful bride."
A fan told him: "That's one way to do it! Congratulations to you both what wonderful news."
The funnyman is best known for his part in Kitty Flanagan's ABC comedy series Fisk.
He won Best Newcomer at the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival for his debut show The Infinite Faces of Chenny Baby.
Aaron is currently touring with his stand-up show If Weren’t Filmed, Nobody Would Believe across the country.
