A driver is wanted by police after a serious hit and run in Garston.
A man was knocked down, at the junction of Russell Road and Shrewsbury Road, between 6.20pm and 6.40pm on Friday, January 13. Officers say the victim, in his 60s, was hit by a car which was then driven off from the scene.
The victim suffered serious leg injuries and is now awaiting surgery in hospital. Police are now appealing for witnesses, CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage that may help the investigation.

The officer in charge of the investigation, PC James Downey-Parkes said: "To leave the scene of any collision is a serious matter, and we’re keen to trace the vehicle to assist our enquiries and speak to any witnesses to this collision. The pedestrian was very shaken after the incident and suffered a serious leg injury which he is now waiting for surgery.
"The incident happened at a time where there would have been people around who may have witnessed the incident or seen a car driving erratically around that time, any information no matter how small could help the investigation.
