Man left seriously injured after early morning attack in Manchester city centre

A man was left seriously injured after being attacked in Manchester city centre. The victim was assaulted outside a venue on Bridge Street at around 4.40am on March 11.

He was rushed to hospital from the scene to be treated for serious injuries that police have said are not believed to be life changing.

An investigation was launched, with officers now appealing for information. Greater Manchester Police have also shared the picture of a man they want to speak to who they believe will be able to help with enquiries.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 4:40am on Saturday 11 March 2023, a man was assaulted outside a venue on Bridge Street in Manchester city centre.

"The victim was taken to hospital with sustained serious injuries not believed to be life changing. GMP are looking to speak to the man pictured as he may be able to help with enquiries."
