Man labelled hero as he works out how to get more food at McDonald's for less money

If you walk into McDonald's for a lunchtime treat it can be tempting to order more than you should, especially when everything tastes so delicious.

But one man has been dubbed a hero for working out a way to get more McDonald's for your money with a cheeky ordering trick.

TikToker Darren Dowling, 26, who posts under the name @yerboidazz a, came up with a hack to get four Chicken Selects for less than the price of three - and his loyal followers are beyond delighted.

In a video which now has more then 12million views, he explained: "I was scouring the UberEats app for good deals then once I realised you could take everything off a burger, I wondered if it was the same with chicken!

"I had a look at the wraps of the day and I realised you got two chicken selects in it AND they were cheaper, so I had to try it."

Usually, three Chicken Selects cost £4.30 as a set portion, but thanks to Darren, you can bag four for just £3.98.

During the video, the TikToker shows that if you purchase two wraps of the day and have everything else removed, like the wrap, salad, etc, but leave the chicken, you will end up with four Chicken Selects.

When Darren's order arrives, he shows how the staff put four Selects into a pancake box, describing the food as "absolutely beautiful".

He continues: "All you need to do is just order the two wraps of the day take everything off it and there you go!"

The sneaky trick left social media users amazed – with even some McDonald's staff commenting on his revelation.

Someone wrote: "As a McDonald’s worker, I applaud you", followed by a crying with laughter face.

"This is monumental and has genuinely changed my life," added another person.

One person simply wrote: "The hero we deserve."

Another cautioned the man, however, writing: "Please don’t be putting the price of wraps up now!"
