Man killed in crop duster crash

A man has been killed in a light plane accident on a farm in western NSW.

Emergency services were called to a farm near Bourke on Saturday morning, where a crop-dusting aircraft had crashed in a field.

Paramedics treated the sole-occupant, a man aged 47, but he died at the scene.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is investigating the crash, and authorities are urging any witnesses to contact Bourke Police or Crime Stoppers on on 1800 333 00.
