A man has died and several people have been injured after several serious crashes on South Australian roads.
The 20-year-old Ingle Farm man was killed when the Mitsubishi station wagon he was driving collided with a truck towing camels on Victor Harbor Road at Hindmarsh Valley about 6:30pm on Saturday.
Two women and two children in the truck were taken to hospital.
Police say the camels in the trailer were euthanased.
In the Riverland, two police officers were injured last night in a crash with a car carrying two international tourists at Loxton North.
A 27-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in serious condition.
The police officers were taken to local hospitals and later released.
Also overnight, a 21-year-old woman from Elizabeth Downs was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries when the car she was driving crashed into a gum tree at Hope Valley, in Adelaide's north-east.
She is now in a stable condition.
Three people have died so far this year on South Australian roads.
Seventy-one people died in crashes in the state in 2022, down from 99 in 2021.
