Man jailed for carving swastikas in Westfield shopping centre with knife

A man has been jailed for two-and-a-half years after being caught carving swastikas onto walls in Westfield shopping centre in Stratford.

On arrest Andy Koseda, 54, of no fixed address was racially abusive and threatening to responding officers after they rushed to the scene on Tuesday, February 15.

The man, of no fixed abode, appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Thursday where he was sentenced for threatening a person with a knife in a public place, racially aggravated harassment, criminal damage, possession of a knife and using threatening words to cause harassment.

Koseda had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing, police said.
