A man in his 60s has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Bolton. Greater Manchester Police says it was called out to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Back Bridgeman Street, near to Heywood Park, yesterday morning (May 16).
The man's injuries were not life-threatening, GMP says. Police are continuing to investigate the collision and have issued an appeal for information today (Tuesday).
Any witnesses are being urged to come forward as soon as possible. A GMP spokesperson said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian in Bolton.

"Police were called at 11:47am yesterday (Monday, May 15 2023) to reports of a serious injury collision on Back Bridgeman Street at the junction with Recreation Street in Bolton. A man in his 60s sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"GMP is now urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have dashcam footage to come forward. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit can be contacted on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident number 001287-15052023."
