A man in his 30s was shot multiple times in Mulhuddart last night.
A source confirmed to the Irish Mirror that the victim was shot six times and was taken to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
Reports this morning indicate he is now in a serious but stable condition.
Gardai attended the scene of the shooting in Parslickstown Green in the Mulhuddart area of Dublin.
The incident is believed to have happened just before 8.20pm on Monday, December 5.
It is thought the victim lives near the scene of the incident.
The shooting is not related to the Hutch-Kinahan feud.
No arrests have been made and gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
