The New York Police Department has apprehended a 24-year-old man in connection with a devastating incident that resulted in the deaths of four individuals in a Brooklyn apartment. The tragic event unfolded when officers responded to a late-night assault report on Friday.
Upon arrival at the scene in the Bensonhurst neighborhood, law enforcement discovered the lifeless body of 56-year-old Fayzieva Mavlyuda, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. Mavlyuda was identified as the grandmother of the two younger victims found in the residence.
The other victims, 27-year-old Maftuna Khakimova, and her two children, 5-year-old Kamila Shavkatova and 4-year-old Timur Shavkatov, were also found deceased in the same home. The NYPD has not disclosed the nature of the injuries sustained by these three victims.
