Man In Custody After Gunshots Fired Near Trump Golf Club

A man was taken into custody after gunshots were fired near former President Donald Trump at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The incident occurred, and the man was described as 'relatively calm' by Martin County Sheriff William D. Snyder.

Sheriff Snyder mentioned that the suspect did not display strong emotions and did not inquire about the situation upon being detained. It was noted that the suspect was not armed when law enforcement officials apprehended him from the vehicle.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office will transfer the vehicle to FBI custody, which will lead the investigation in collaboration with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and the US Secret Service.

Sheriff Snyder highlighted that his agency took swift action by closing a significant portion of Interstate 95 and deploying resources to safely stop the suspect vehicle. He confirmed that the suspect authorities were seeking in Palm Beach County is now in custody.
