A man is in critical condition after a crossbow incident.
Lancashire Police confirmed a man in his 20s suffered a head injury in an incident believed to involve a crossbow. Officers were called to Brick Kiln Way in Tarleton just after 7am on Sunday, May 15 following reports that a man had been injured.
The man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he remains in critical condition. Enquiries are ongoing but police believe the injury was caused by a crossbow.

A Lancashire Police spokesperson told the ECHO : "We were called at shortly after 7am on Sunday (May 15 th ) to a report that a man had been found with a head injury on Brick Kiln Way in Tarleton. The man, aged in his 20s, was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
"Enquiries are ongoing but at this stage, we believe the injury was caused by a crossbow. We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident. Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this time."
