A man was hospitalised following an assault on a street in Horfield at around 3pm today (June 17).
The victim, aged in his 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment after emergency services attended the scene and cordoned off Camborne Road.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We’re investigating after a man in his 50s was assaulted by another man on Camborne Road, Bristol at about 3.20 pm today.

"The victim was taken to hospital via ambulance following the incident. Officers have spoken to a number of witnesses and are currently reviewing CCTV from the area. Enquiries are ongoing."
