Man hospitalised after Arthur's Seat fall in early morning incident

A man has been rushed to hospital after falling from Arthur's Seat this morning.

Officers were alerted to the incident at Queen's Drive in Edinburgh this morning, February 15, at around 6:20am.

Emergency crews raced to the scene and the man was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary but no information is available on his injuries at this stage.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.20am on Wednesday, 15 February, we were called to Queen’s Drive following a report that a man had fallen at Arthurs Seat, Edinburgh.

“Emergency services attended and he was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment."
