Chaos erupted at a cricket match after a mass brawl broke out on the pitch.
Punches are thrown and one man appears to be repeatedly hit with a weapon in a video from the crowd.
Spectators and family members can be heard screaming as the police are called.
A young girl is shown running across the pitch and a young man is shown dragged across the field and beaten.
Police are now investigating the brutal punch up, which left one man hospitalised, after the video was uploaded to social media.
The fight took place at a division six match between Newcastle & Hartshill and Hanford, with violence breaking out at the end of the game after Hanford won by two wickets.
Hartshill and Hanford have said the club and the league are investigating as well as local police, StokeonTrentLive reports.
Hanford chairman Derek Adams said: "The league are investigating, the police are investigating, and the club are holding their own investigation. Further than that, there's nothing to say until the police have spoken to us.
"The investigation is ongoing with the league, who I've been liaising with since the incident."
Police are appealing for witnesses following Saturday's disorder.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said officers were called to the cricket ground on Church Lane at 6.18pm on Saturday, July 9, following the end of the Hanford innings.
It is not known how many of the people in the footage actually played in the game.
"Police were called to reports that a man had been assaulted with a metal bar at Hanford Cricket Club,” the spokesperson added.
"The man attended hospital and was treated for bruising and swelling. Enquiries are ongoing."
League chairman Gavin Carr said: "The league are aware of the situation and we are saddened that we have to deal with something like this.
“This behaviour has no place in society, let alone on a cricket field.
“The matter will be referred to the league's disciplinary officer and we will be dealing with it through the right channels."
StokeonTrentLive has contacted Newcastle & Hartshill Cricket Club for a statement regarding Saturday's events without success.
