A man had a high value watch stolen from him in a late night robbery in Altrincham on Wednesday (August 17). Police were called to the scene, on Groby Road, shortly before 9pm.
Greater Manchester Police shared the news late on Wednesday evening, saying they had attended a 'serious incident'. It has since been confirmed the culprits stole the jewellery from a man aged in his 60s.
Police are urging for anyone with any information to come forward. An investigation remains underway and no arrests have been made in relation to the incident.

The South Neighbourhood team were also at the scene supporting CID officers. They patrolled the area in the aftermath to provide reassurance to residents and conduct enquiries.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "We were called shortly before 9pm on (17 August) to a report of a robbery on Groby Road, Altrincham. We understand that a man in his 60s was targeted and had a high-value watch stolen from him.
"An investigation is underway. No arrests have been made."
