A man has reportedly lost his hand in an attack outside a working men's club in Yorkshire this evening.
A witness in her 50s claimed she saw the appendage on the ground moments after hearing a "squeal" coming from the direction of Deighton Working Men's Club in Huddersfield, West Yorks.
The male victim was attacked at around 5.30pm on Monday when two masked men approached him while he was in the smoking shelter outside the club and attacked with a bladed weapon, before fleeing.
Comparing the scene to a gory horror film, the witness told Yorkshire Live: "A young man has had one of his hands chopped off and the hand is on the floor.

“It was like something out of a horror film. I heard him squealing in the smoking shelter and two boys in balaclavas chopped him up.
"I don’t normally get nightmares but I expect I will tonight. It was an awful squeal that got my attention. I saw him running into the pub and they locked the doors.
"There’s spots of blood everywhere."
The incident is the second time this year someone has lost a limb in the area, following a similar incident in February this year.
The witness added: "Someone picked up the hand and wrapped it in blue kitchen towel to try to preserve it.
“I have lived here for 20-odd years and there will be reprisals. I hear he has lost his hand over a £10 bag of weed.
"I was here the last time a lad had his arm nearly sliced off.”
Detective Inspector Dennise Bell of Kirklees CID, said: “This has clearly been a very serious incident in which the victim has received a severe injury.
“We do believe the attack was targeted and are continuing a number of active enquiries today.
“I would again appeal to anyone who saw what occurred or has information to contact us at Kirklees CID on 101 or online at www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat referencing police log 1327 of August 9.
“Information can also be given anonymously to the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111. “
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police had earlier said added: "Police were called to a working men’s club in Deighton Road, Huddersfield at about 5.27pm today (Tuesday August 9) to a report a man had been seriously injured.
"Emergency services attended the scene and located the victim who had suffered leg injuries and a severe hand injury.
"It was reported he had been attacked outside the pub by two men who made off from the scene."
