A man was rushed to a hospital in Edinburgh after he was found with serious injuries on a street in Musselburgh.
Shortly after 12.55am on Saturday, June 10, police were made aware of the man who was found on James Street in Musselburgh. He was rushed to the Royal Infirmary by ambulance to receive treatment where he remains.
Officers cordoned off the street to investigate where eyewitnesses report seeing blood on the street.

Police Scotland confirm that after carrying out enquiries, there are no suspicious circumstances around how he sustained his injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man found with serious injuries on James Street in Musselburgh shortly after 12.55am on Saturday, 10 June.
“The man has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh by ambulance for treatment, where he remains.
“Enquiries have been carried out and there are no suspicious circumstances around how he sustained his injuries.”
