A man found with 'serious' injuries in Tameside died two days later in hospital, police have confirmed. Officers were called to reports of concern for welfare of a man on Ash Road, Droylsden, on Saturday (October 22).
He had suffered 'serious' injuries, Greater Manchester Police said. The man was rushed to hospital.
He sadly died there two days later, on Monday (October 24), the force has confirmed in an updated statement. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident or the man's death, GMP added.
Officers were pictured near the Ash Road Allotments just after 2pm. A cordon was put in place as specialists scoured the scene.
An air ambulance was also spotted landing nearby on a field near Greenside Primary School.
The man's age has not been released and he has not yet been named.
