A man has been jailed after he was found in possession of a knife and class A drugs during a stop and search. Officers were alerted by a member of the public about a man routing through bins at One Stop, Queen's Road, Beeston.
The man was stopped and detained by an officer, on April 8, after they noticed what appeared to be a knife sticking out of the front pocket of the man's shirt. The man was searched and police subsequently found the man to be in possession of class A drugs.
On the 8th of April 2023, PC Parlatt was alerted by a member of the public about a male routing through the bins at the rear of One Stop, Queens Road, Beeston.

Michal Kruszewski, 27, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged to appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on the April 9 for possession of Class A drugs and possession of a bladed article. He was sentenced to 21 weeks imprisonment.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "The male was stopped and quickly detained by PC Parlatt as he noticed what appeared to be a knife sticking out of the front pocket of the male's shirt. The male was searched and was also found to be in possession of class-A drugs."
